Did (2009) Star trek XI dvd or blue ray leaked out?

by Bureks 24. October 2009 20:17

If you search the internet, you can find that DVD Star Trek 11 (2009) has leaked out. Before official release on 2009 November 17th, it is all over the place available for download.Tongue out

I'm not talking about movie rips, they have original DVD! I took a peak (you can do as well, if you type as search term in Google: Startrek DVD9. I bet you'll get full first page full of nasty downloads. It is funny to see how Amazon doesn't gives preview for it, while whole world goes on funny versions of it. I guess they use word mutation to cover up for obvious searches. So you have  terms as Startrek, Star treck, instead of DVD you get dvd9, dvr, dvx, mydvd,, dvd-r and dvdrw.... Blu ray isn't so bad, only thing is that they use blue ray instead... Maybe accidentally, but bet is that Enterprise 2009 weights to much on Blu-ray to be practical for online sharing.

More funny, Star Trek The Original Series Season 3 with DVD Release Date: December 15, 2009 is already available - worldwide.... I wonder, how long it takes to download 51 Gb Blu ray disc? It is sad that people that will honestly pay for it, first, have to wait. That happened, will happen, but is sad to see that disc could have been released earlier. Who likes to wait anyway? Honestly, I would like to take a look at these babies. It is sooo tempting! It would be really ironic since I'm affiliated with Amazon, who sells original Star Trek 2009 in four different version (including one with replica gift set - but that was in one of my previous posts).

Greatest joke would be if Startrek 12 gets on the internet faster than in the cinemas... But, it's not impossible. If Ferengi like me would own Paramount/CBS (tm) for sure I would sell it as soon as I could! Customers shouldn't wait to buy something! I know that financial situation in third world countries isn't that good. No one would spend 25$ to buy original DVD, while his wage goes up to 100$ in a month. It is simply to much. I wonder if this will ever change. Microsoft had practice to sell down priced version of Windows for Chinese market. Would it be possible that Star Trek I mean publishers follow same path? Just a thought .... I do this in order to make some money, however (I'm ashamed as Ferengi I know) not yet managed to sell a single item! If someone ever makes a purchase through this blog, I'd really like to get a comment on one of the posts... I wonder if I messed up something with shopping cart... Hm?

It seems that every title scheduled for pre release is somehow already somewhere around... As it seems, all it takes is to pick right combination of search terms like dvd9, startrek, star treck, enteprize, interprise, enerprise, os enterprizes...

Enterprise theme song lyrics, mp3 download info and Faith of the Heart video

by Bureks 23. October 2009 08:59

Star Trek Enterprise Theme Song lyrics is the first lyrical theme used for opening credits of a Star Trek show. Sung by Russell Watson, talented opera tenor, it is often confused with "Faith of the Heart". True title is "Where My Heart Will Take Me". Faith of the Heart was soundtrack for "Patch Adams" performed by Rod Stewart. Same song with these two names was written by Diane Warren. She is Grammy Award winner, and multiple Oscar nominee.
Theme Song is available as standalone mp3 version for download. "Where My Heart Will Take Me" is available on Russell's second album - "Encore" and only slightly altered from TV show version. Star Trek Enterprise Season 3&4 had version with faster tempo. Lyrical version provoked  lots of arguing in fan base, and that change spawned new.
Two episodes with alternate history, featured completely different Star Trek Enterprise Theme Song. The theme song and opening credits can be seen in season 4 under title "In a Mirror, Darkly".
Space shuttle Discovery on mission STS-114 played recording of "Where My Heart Will Take Me" on August 2, 2005 as wake-up call. The song was dedication from Deputy Manager Wayne Hale. Two years later on August 9, 2007 it was played during STS-118 mission as dedication to astronaut Rick Mastracchio. Next time it was played as wake-up call on STS-125 mission, which targeted Hubble Space Telescope. It was on May 23, 2009.

Enterprise Theme Song Lyrics

It's been a long road
Getting from there to here
It's been a long time
But my time is finally near

And I can feel the change in the winds right now
Nothing's in my way
And they're not gonna hold me down no more
No there not gonna hold me down

Cause I've got faith of the heart
I'm going where my heart will take me
I've got faith to believe
I can do anything
I've got strength of the soul
And no one's gonna bend or break me
I can reach any star
I've got faith
I've got faith
Faith of the heart

It's been a long night
Trying to find my way
Been through the darkness
Now I finally have my day
And I will see my dreams come alive at last
I will touch the sky
And they're not gonna hold me down no more
No there not gonna change my mind

Cause I've got faith of the heart
I'm going where my heart will take me
I've got faith to believe
I can do anything
I've got strength of the soul
And no one's gonna bend or break me
I can reach any star
I've got faith
Faith of the heart

I've known a wind so cold and seen the darkest days
But now the winds I feel, are only winds of change
I've been through the fire and I've been through the rain
But I'll be fine

Cause I've got faith of the heart
I'm going where my heart will take me
I've got faith to believe
I can do anything
I've got strength of the soul
And no one's gonna bend or break me
I can reach any star
I've got faith

I've got faith of the heart
I'm going where my heart will take me
I've got strength of the soul
And no one's gonna bend or break me
I can reach any star
I've got faith
I've got faith
Faith of the heart

It's been a long road

Oh, it's been long road

Toys like crew - is Q messing up with sequel scenario?

by Bureks 18. October 2009 00:03

Star Trek Toys

Pictorial proof is here. Crew members of Enterprise are turned into Star Trek toys. It surprises me no one posted a word about it. Zip, nada, nothing... Guess people are not looking into Amazon search engine. I find valuable information there. Like this one. So I write first. This brings lots of visitors to Ferengi website. Which in turn brings a lots of latinum to Ferengi.

It is obvious that Enterprise will explore pink planet. Atmosphere is pink as well, indicating high ozone levels that block shorter wavelengths. So, planet is either new or pollution free. Actors are quite unfamiliar, but I'm sure someone will recognize them somehow. Any toys resemblance is just coincidence.

Sequel for 2009 also brings new uniform color - pink precisely. Female member is clearly new function in Star Trek. Maybe higher level academic officer, or commanding staff? I think it's merchant officer.... Introduced to trade with interstellar civilizations. Male figure is probably her assistant or security.

What will actually happen to them? Why 2009 sequel plays with scenario?

My sequel scenario goes like this:

Enterprise gets distress call from planet X. Kirk orders immediate departure. New crew members get introduced to the captain. Spock makes statement about logic. Like: "Considering trade scene frequency and tribble trouble, this is logical!" So, everybody agree that on the next away mission, trade officer goes first!

[To make following easier I'll name them Ybrab and Nek.]

So, Ybrab and Nek are beamed down on planet X. They meet Q, who is selling some stuff. They find out, that stuff is sugar wool. What makes things complicated is that sugar is made of colonists. Naively they ate the present, Ybrab and Nek got accused by Q for being cannibals! For punishment, he turns them into puppets...

Meanwhile, Enterprise notices peculiar energy signatures. Receiving no answer, they beam up Ybarb and Nek, only to find out they look like toy dolls... Scotty grabs them to play, but Spock halts him after tricorder scan. "They are humans! Scotty, stop playing with Ybrab!"

After brief discussion, Captain Kirk decides to send away team. This time him, Sulu and third anonymous member. (You are right, that member will NOT go back!) After meeting Q, short discussion and letting third member eat candy wool... ZZZZAAPP! Third party member is turned into a toy doll!. Now follows tricky negotiating part, involving attack from unknown primitive race, switching between couple of galaxies, times, planets and technology levels...

Finally, Spock releases mighty phaser modulated beam. Everything stops, and Q is helpless. However, he can't turn toy crew into old ones. They are forced to live like that. Cotton candy colonists got restored, but got fur, so they look funny...

And that's it more or less...

I know, the actual sequel will look different, but someone might need to increase toy sales, and this would be outcome...

Since I'm Ferengi who lives from affiliating with different businesses I must give you an offer to buy some toys for your kids! Take a look at toy collections I have here to offer...

Star Trek Costumes, Uniforms and Masks Halloween2009

by Bureks 16. October 2009 07:22

Star Trek Uniforms and thingsImagine Star Trek characters at Halloween night? I mean real one. They don't have to buy Star Trek costumes. Uniforms are provided, phasers with tricorders ready. Attitude is right, and make up perfect! No masks needed. Perfect for blending with Earthlings.  To boldly trick-or-treat where no treat has happened before.

Due to Halloween, warp coil repair will be done by skeleton crews.
Why is Enterprise so Spocky? Came to dead-stop!

Unless you're beamed down from Enterprise, you'll need Star Trek uniform. A tricorder is to scan candy for harmful substances. Full scan of house can discover hostile creatures. Phaser is helpful in diplomatic activities with inhabitants. Communication badge will keep you in contact with secondary away team, along with orbiting spaceship. Logic implies you get highest ranking uniforms for your party. Thus enabling you to give orders to low ranking Star Trek uniforms. Especially if they are not Star Trek 2009.
Away team should consist of different profiles. With multiple Star Trek masks at hand, you can be Changeling, which is really cool. There should be at least one Vulcan, one Human, and mandatory: at least one Ferengi. They are great if you convince them candy contains latinum... Klingon Warbird is great cause you can hide it really well - cloaked.

5% off ANY order at Costume Craze!!Here is how different Star Trek characters behave at Halloween:

TREK OR TREKKING BY SPECIES

  • Klingon pushes the others aside to get to the door first. (Worf)
  • Talaxian will only eat the finest of Swiss chocolates. (Neelix)
  • Changeling goes around the neighborhood once, changes costumes and goes around again. (Odo)
  • Bajoran stays at home and gives candy to the other trick-or-treaters. (Kyra)
  • Andorians plan their costume for months, then won't go out because someone else had the same idea. (
  • Vulcan wears a neatly-pressed suit and tells everyone they're a bookkeeper.
  • Betasoid is still standing in front of the closet trying to decide on a costume.
  • Romulan isn't in it for the candy.
  • Ocampa will manage to wander to the next town.
  • Ferengi makes a list of all the houses that give good candy and the optimal route to take.
  • Borg builds the costume out of spare flashlights and spends all night tinkering when it shorts.
  • Ba'ku skips the whole thing to compose poetry to the Moon.
Q. Why did the Borg eat a light bulb?
A. Because he was in need of a light snack

To help you further in exploring neighboring planets (uhm, houses) here is a brief:

Starfleet Survival Guide (use of costumes or uniforms masks only outfit)

  • When it appears that you have killed the Borg, "never" check to see if it's really dead.
  • Do not take anything from the Borg.
  • If you find a planet which looks deserted, it's probably for a reason. Take the hint and stay away.
  • Don't fool with recombinant DNA technology unless you're sure you know what you're doing.
  • If you're running from the Borg, expect to trip or fall down at least twice, more if you are of the female persuasion. Also note that, despite the fact that you are running and the Borg is merely shambling along, it's still moving fast enough to catch up with you.
  • If your ship runs out of dillithium, do not go to the nearby deserted-looking planet to call for help.
  • If replicators and holodeck start operating by themselves, bail out.
  • As a general rule, don't solve puzzles that open portals to Q-continuum.
  • Do not search the Jeffrey tubes, especially if the power has gone out.
  • If children aboard speak to you in Romulan or any other language which they should not know, or if they speak to you using a voice which is other than their own, shoot them immediately. It will save you a lot of grief in the long run. NOTE: It will probably take several phaser adjustments to kill them, so be prepared.
  • Never orbit in, on, above, below, beside, or anywhere near a Borg, Romulan, Klingon, Cardassian, or other ship of the kind.
  • If you're searching for something which caused a life form reading and find out that it's just the tribble, beam off the planet immediately if you value your life.
  • If your companions suddenly begin to exhibit uncharacteristic behavior such as hissing, fascination for blood, glowing eyes, increasing hairiness, and so on, beam away from them as fast as possible.
  • If you are appointed as third party member along with Kirk and Spock, or any other two main characters, there is 95% chance you will end up badly on mission. Proceed to sickbay straight away.

I hope these advices will help you on your mission. If not, well, remember, only Kirk and Chuck Noriss can survive Kobayashi Maru.... Even without Star Trek costume

Remeber, your very own Ferengi merchant has Star Trek costume, Star Trek uniform, or Star Trek Phaser, and even Star Trek ship available here. Star Trek Stuff is here just for you. (I know the logic since I'm freak for Star Trek)

Enterprise - Star Trek Cast versus TPol. Who is the Winner?

by Bureks 9. October 2009 20:25

Jolene Blalock Pictures

T'Pol, Vulcan girl would be my bet if you are interested in Enterprise - Star Trek casting crew! Aboard USS Enterprise she was scientific adviser and first officer. One of her personal quotes: "Spock was the sex symbol. A lot of people think it was Kirk. But, no, it was really Spock."

Her Earth name is Jolene K. Blalock (Scottish derivation of Black Loch, meaning "Black Lake"). She was born San Diego, California on March 5th 1975. She has a carrier as model and actor. Currently married to Michael Rapino with whom she lives in Los Angeles.
I found some Jolene Blalock pictures (posters) that you may find interesting. See them here!

Seriously, acting:

  • USS Enterprise (yeah, the ship itself, designated NX-01 to show it's experimental nature.)
  • Captain Jonathan Archer (Scott Bakula) - Honestly, in first episodes of the show, Captain seemed like he was confused and lost, but later became more leadership prone. He was in personal connection with Enterprise, for his father designed the engine. Later conflict with Xindi put quite lot strain on him.
  • T'Pol (Jolene Blalock) - What to say than apart from being smart, Vulcan look really hot! Joke, she was in role of special adviser and first officer... Cool, huh?
  • Commander Tucker (Connor Trinneer) - Trip, he is Trip! He's combo of McCoy and Scotty - in one person! Sharing great deal  of humor and brilliancy, made himself irresistible even to a T'Pol...
  • Lt. Commander Reed (Dominic Keating) - Red Alert on starships should have been named after him,. so we would have Reed Alert, but history was unfair.... It was logical idea for security officer on board after all. He and Trip in combination made some of funniest episodes ever... Like two boys playing on their own playground.
  • Dr. Phlox (John Billingsley) I wonder, why doctors in Star Trek play the Jokers role? Is it because they have to be weird, or is it because they are isolated... in sickbay?
  • Lt. Mayweather (A.T. Montgomery) - Experience is good prerequisite for navigating distant stars... So, he was first helmsman on board.
  • Ensign Sato (Linda Park) - Who would be better for role of communicator than real life multilingual person? She does know several languages... After all, somone had to understand languages before Universal translator became possible...
  • Other minor characters
