Star Trek on Blu-ray is here. It was only matter of time for popular titles like Star Trek go on Blu-ray. While most titles are still on Pre-order, some are readily available. Material is remastered to achieve quality that matches current and future display technology. You may notice that only the most popular titles like Star Trek 2 Wrath of Khan or Star Trek 6 The Undiscovered Country have single issue Blue-ray with future issues to come.
Star Trek Blu-ray ended further reproduction of DVDs. (as far as I can see, most of DVDs on Amazon are used items). Regardless whether you are new to Star Trek , or just want to upgrade your collection of Star Trek movies, Blu-ray is the way to go. This format is here, and is here to stay, so there is no need to worry that you'll have to make another switch shortly.

Currently available items are all movies grouped into collections of Original Crew, Next Generation and New Crew. Only Season 1 and two are available ATM, but third is soon to follow and most popular movies like Star Trek 2, 4, 6 and 8 are available individually.
