Star Trek DVDs (2009) as Renaissance
Star Trek by JJ. Abrams is here. I see it as true Next (New) Generation Star Trek. I won't spoil enjoyment repeating the story circulating the internet for a while. I'll look into the future, and this future looks bright to me when DVDs with Star Trek start arriving to the homes. Original Star Trek Series are great, I was born and raised with them, but admit, they look like museum cell phone. (And they sound alike).
The Star Trek Movie 2009 will not make difference by itself. Materials delivered on DVDs will. Designers, web masters, fans willing to employ their skills and knowledge will embrace rich DVD content and bring new life to Star Trek Websites. They should. I will be one of them for sure...
Moreover, Star Trek videos that will emerge on Youtube and alike sites will spread attention to non-Star Trek audience. Themes and wallpapers derived from raw Star Trek DVD will be there around New Years eve as perfect gift to Star Trek community.
Beware, Star Trek DVDs will be in two versions: DVD and Blu-Ray. Advice: if you can, get Star Trek 2009 movie on Blu-Ray. It contains load of extras (at least in specs from Amazon) and lots of people noticed differences.
Writing about Star Trek DVD I got some ideas I'd put into work myself and can hardly wait for its release on November 17th. Picking proper colors for web theme design is hard if you don't have template. Star Trek DVD will be the source....
